Application Integration

MS Outlook Integration

Pipeliner fully supports contacts integration into Microsoft Outlook 2010. The relevant code is written in Microsoft.Net Framework 3.5 as the development platform. Outlook integration is an "Add-in" customizing the Ribbon (through Microsoft Office Fluent User Interface) in Outlook. Other technologies used within this integration are

  • "ADO.Net entity framework", an object relational mapping framework for the .net framework,
  • Microsoft Office system Primary Interop Assemblies together with Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Tools for Office Runtime.

Microsoft Dynamics Integration

Opposite to Outlook integration this integrations happened as middle ware which provide an adapter between the Pipeliner Server Application Programming Interface and Microsoft Dynamics SDK 5.5. Following Technologies were used at this integration.

  • FluorineFx, the free and open source Flash/Flex remoting gateway that connects Pipeliner Server API
  • Microsoft .NET 4.0 Framework

Server Application Programming Interface

pipeliner provides an application programming interface (API), that is fully interoperational with pipeliner data. The system relies on the robust Action Message Format (AMF) as transport protocol, which in turn provides remote procedure calls (RPC) for the methods supported. There are a variety of frameworks available in many languages, making this API system language independent. Officially supported are:

SabreAMF with PHP http://code.google.com/p/sabreamf/
pyAMF with Python http://www.pyamf.org/index.html
FluorineFx when using .NET http://www.fluorinefx.com

Developers: Empower and connect your app by using pipeliner API documentation and make your current selling tool even more powerful.
