Brand New Tagging

Tags are an incredibly useful way to flag — or categorise — Accounts, Contacts, Leads or Opportunities in Pipeliner. Users can select multiple “Tags” per record as needed and — if their userUser User means a person who uses or consumes a product or a service, usually a digital device or an online service. role allows — can create new Tagson the fly” from inside the web app. Tags can be color-coded when they’re created. ⤵

Clicking on a “Tag” from one record dynamically drills down into a list view of all other records with the same tag and the dataData Data is a set of quantitative and qualitative facts that can be used as reference or inputs for computations, analyses, descriptions, predictions, reasoning and planning. can be actioned directly from the list! ⤵

Admins can set up separate “Tags” for each type of record in the Admin Module and can allow (or prevent) users from also adding Tags “on the fly” from inside the web app by enabling or disabling the option at the “User Role” level. ⤵

Tags can be imported — for example, if you’re importing Accounts, you can map one of the columns from your CSV file to the AccountAccount Account refers to a record of primary and background information about an individual or corporate customer, including contact data, preferred services, and transactions with your company. For existing customers who had previously used the “Labels” option for Opportunities and/or Leads — the previous system labels have been migrated to “Tags“. If you’ve previously set up any Filters using the Labels field, these will still work though we would advise changing your Filter criteria to Tags instead. As part of our ongoing usability enhancement program, we’ve updated the following features.

Various Improvements

Allowing other users to send emails from a user’s email address

Each user can configure their email integration settings to allow access to their personal email to enable it to be used when emails are sent by other users. To allow their email address to be used by Automatizer processes and in Email Sequences, each user should tick the box “When option Record’s owner email account is used” ⤵

To allow Mass Emails to be sent from their personal email address by other users, tick the “Mass Emails” box and then choose whether “All Users” or “Selected Users” will be able to send the Mass Emails. Most users will probably choose “Selected Users” and then choose from the user list to select the right people.

If a user has not authorised use of their email address and the new option to send from the “Record Owner’s email account” is used — for example, in an Automatizer process, the user will receive an email notification message and the Automatizer process log will also log the issue.

Email Sequence Enhancements

We’ve added to the “Global Actions” in the “Email Sequence Settings” to allow recipients to be unenrolled (and unsubscribed) when an email bounces as well as allowing any follow up Tasks created to be customised.

In “Email Sequence Statistics“, the new “Recipient Statistics” section gives an overview of all recipients.

You can now also drill down into the underlying data from the “Email Sequence Statistic” report and click from the list to open it in CRM so you can work with the data e.g. by running an Automatizer process or bulk updating.
