Advanced Reporting allows you to you combine any record type (opportunities, leads, accounts, contacts, products, feeds, notes, activities) or report type (standard or pivot) into one single report.
In the past, creating advanced reports of this type was complex and had a steep learning curve. Pipeliner is all about simplifying complexity -as found in the field of cybernetics- and Advanced Reporting is a prime example of this functionality.
It all begins with another new, fantastic feature of Pipeliner CRM: Report Builder. Report Builder is a visual editor for reports.
Using report builder, you can begin with any record type on which you wish your report to be based. For example, you could begin with “opportunities.” You chose that as a table, and you’ll see that you can then choose columns and filters that relate to opportunities.
You could then, in addition, choose “Accounts”, and select columns and fields you want displayed for accounts.
As you can see, for each record type you can then add the columns and fields you want displayed, as well as filter by fields. You can then add other record types and combine them into the report.
You can then add subtables, such as pivot tables, which gives you a whole other level of detail. For example in the report we just created above, we could add a pivot table for activities. You would then end up with a nifty combination of reports, all in one, that makes for a powerful data set.
The resulting report will then display the precise data you need for the subject which you are analyzing or on which you are reporting. In the example above, you would have the opportunity, account, and related data, along with individual activities for each of those opportunities.
Each report created is totally dynamic–you can drill down to the full data, for the account, opportunity, or any other aspect.
With Advanced Reporting, Pipeliner CRM has once again taken a quantum leap in Instant Intelligence, Visualized.
